Mr. Adams is currently the President and Member of the Board of Directors of Privest Wealth Management Inc. Mr. Adams co-founded Privest in 2010, but only assumed the role of President in early 2012. In 2007, he co-founded Azcan RPG Corporation. Azcan is a Canadian company, based in Calgary, AB, that owns +250 single-family detached homes throughout the United States. Mr. Adams was actively involved in the operations of Azcan until late 2011, and continues to be its largest shareholder. From 2004 to 2011, he held the position of President of Exclusive Capital Corporation, a company located in Calgary, Alberta, that provided consulting services to corporations seeking private markets financing. Mr. Adams was a director of Investicare Seniors Housing Corporation from 2004 to 2011. Investicare, also based in Calgary, Alberta, develops and operates assisted/supportive living facilities for seniors. Prior to founding Exclusive Capital Corporation, he was a Principal and co–founder of Equibank Capital Inc. from 2002 to 2004. Equibank was a private markets corporate advisory firm engaged in advising companies with respect to financing, merger and acquisition activities. From 1996 to 2002, Mr. Adams worked as a licensed Investment Advisor in the brokerage industry.
Lee Raine CFP, CLU, CH.F.C.; is a co-Founder and current Chairman of the Board of Privest Wealth Management, and has been an estate and retirement income/investment planner since 1978. Located in Calgary, AB, he is a partner of Wealth Design Group and President of Lee Raine Investment & Risk Management Inc. His past professional involvement has included: National Chairman of Advocis (Canadian Association of Insurance Advisors), Chair of the CLU Institute, Chair of CALU (Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting), Board of Directors for Partners in Planning, Advisory Council Member (Bisset School of Business). His past community involvement has included: Board Member of Calgary Urban Projects Society, Board Member of Board of Governors (Rocky Mountain College), Chair of Calgary Center for Non-Profit Management.
Roger McMillan BA, CFP, CLU, CH.F.C. (Toronto); has been a member of LUAC/CAIFA since 1972. Mr. McMillan served on the Board of Directors of Advocis during the merger of CAIFA and CAFP, culminating in his election as Chairman of the Board of The Financial Advisors Association of Canada (Advocis) in 2006. During his tenure, he chaired the initial Best Practices Sub-committee, creating the first Best Practices Manual for Financial Advisors, which has been welcomed by provincial legislatures. He is a member of the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting (CALU), an organization that consults with the Canada Revenue Agency and The Ministry of Finance on all matters related to the insurance industry. In addition, Mr. McMillan represented Advocis on the Ontario Securities Commission Fair Dealing Model Sub-committee. Currently, Mr. McMillan is Chairman of the Ontario Political Advocacy Committee for Advocis, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Advocis Protective Association, which is the E&O company founded for the benefit of advisors by Advocis. Mr. McMillan operates his own estate planning, insurance and employee benefits firm.
Don Cameron has worked in the Financial Services Industry since 1976. He has been a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and involved in the MGA/Insurance Industry for 30 years. Mr. Cameron founded and managed Financial Growth Inc., a financial services company with more than 400 professional agents in his employ, prior to selling the business in 2000. In 2002, Mr. Cameron established Financial Value Inc., an MGA with approximately 25 large volume Insurance Agents. Mr. Cameron’s passion is helping others, and is deeply committed to charity.
